Wales and West Intranet Redesign Starts

February 21, 2007 - Newark, Delaware USA and Kettering Northamptonshire UK - WebWand announces the start of development of the new Wales and West utilities Intranet. After a period of consultation the design phase for the new WWU Intranet is now complete.

The new site will be hosted using a new ASP .Net 2.0 based Content Management System that is being configured to provide an easy to use but controlled environment for publishing important materials in an efficient manner.

"This new system allows us to produce a very attractive site that will allow users to publish new material in a way that maintains the look and feel of the site," said John Trueman of WebWand. "The built-in workflow and approvals process means new content can only be published once it meets the required standards," he continued.

The project is on course for completion by the end of June.
