WebWand Launches New Wales & West Utilities Website

September 1 2006 - Newark, Delaware USA and Kettering, Northamptonshire UK - WebWand is very pleased to announce the launch of the new Wales & West Utilities (WWU) Website. The new site has been designed from the ground up to provide an enhanced user experience. In pre-design discussions, WebWand were asked to pay particular attention to the following areas:

• Interactivity and feedback
• Ease of navigation and use
• Enhanced design and use of images

Following successful design and development phases the site was launched in August 2006. Graham Edwards, WWU's CEO, has this to say about WebWand's work:

"Wales & West Utilities needed a new website, and WebWand's reputation was already known to us. The brief was straightforward. Navigation had to be easy: the site had to look stylish but simple: and it had to be delivered quickly. WebWand did all that - and more. The team was easy to work with and they understood the business and its requirements in record time."

WebWand worked with WWU to produce a design based on in-depth interviews with key WWU staff. Once the design was accepted WebWand created the actual pages using content provided by WWU as well as by WebWand. Stephen Taylor of WebWand says:

"We produced an analysis of the original WWU site indicating where we thought it could be improved. The people at WWU agreed with our recommendations and we incorporated them into the new site. We worked closely with WWU to deliver a site that matched their vision and needs. However, the process doesn't stop here, we will continue to work with WWU to maintain standards and bring new improvements over the life of the site."
